Universityof Florida Physicians (UFP)
The College of Medicine includes a medical group practice comprised of more than 640 faculty physicians providing excellent patient care and emphasizing education for the next generation of physicians, academically as well as practically. Our physicians provide services in over 40 practices, offering both primary and specialty physician care in all areas of medicine. In our offices, UF physicians treat patients from every county in the state, the nation and throughout the world, in addition to providing consults with physicians statewide on complex cases. UF physicians are affiliated with Shands at UF in Gainesville, Shands Jacksonville and other Shands HealthCare hospitals.

The College of Nursing engages in a range of clinical services at interdisciplinary and nurse-managed primary care sites. Faculty are committed to maintaining and role-modeling excellence in clinical practice, particularly with special need and underserved populations.
Faculty Practice Association
Includes nursing and interdisciplinary clinics for women, children, adults and the elderly with special emphasis on underserved and rural populations. Faculty practice sites serve as extended classrooms for both undergraduate and graduate nursing students who join faculty members in providing care.
Archer Family Health Care
College of Nursing’s first nurse-managed health care practice includes adult, pediatric, psychiatric and women's health care and is located in the rural town of Archer, Florida.

Pharmacy Practice
The Department of Pharmacy Practice offers a variety of excellent clinical residencies and research fellowships and provides both inpatient and outpatient pharmaceutical services to the patient population of Shands Hospital and affiliated clinics.
Center for Food-Drug Interaction Research and Education
Led by the University of Florida, was established in the spring of 2003 to help identify and analyze possible food-drug interactions and any resulting effects.

Psychology Clinics
The Department of Clinical and Health Psychology includes Psychology Clinics that offer specialized psychological assessment, consultation, and scientifically based treatment programs in a broad range of areas. College of Veterinary Medicine
UF Veterinary Hospitals
UF Veterinary Medical Center (UFVMC) is an integral part of the College of Veterinary Medicine, serving as a major animal referral center for the entire Southeast. The UFVMC includes both Small Animal Hospital and the Large Animal Hospital.
The Small Animal Hospital
Provides consultation, referrals, emergency veterinary services and 24-hour care for dogs, cats and exotic animals including birds, reptiles and small mammals.
The Large Animal Hospital
Offers consulting and field services not only to the horse industry, but also to beef cattle, dairy cattle and even aquaculture farms, thus serving the entire agricultural industry of the state of Florida.
Zoo Medicine
Offers the highest quality diagnostic and treatment care for all non-domestic animals, including Florida indigenous wildlife and non-native exotic animals. Unique and comprehensive, the wildlife and zoological medicine program at UF is one of only a handful of full-fledged wildlife medicine services in operation at veterinary colleges nationwide.

Shands HealthCare, a private and not-for-profit organization affiliated with the University of Florida Health Science Center, is the state’s leading healthcare referral system and one of the Southeast’s premier health systems. More than 1,500 University of Florida faculty and community physicians representing more than 100 medical specialties work with highly skilled Shands nurses and support staff to provide quality, compassionate care to patients.

Shands includes a number of hospitals: two academic medical centers; a children's hospital; two specialty hospitals, and over 80 outpatient primary and specialty care practices across north Florida.
Shands at UF
The primary teaching hospital for the UF College of Medicine offers many specialized medical services and programs for its patients. Centers of Emphasis include Cancer, Orthopaedics, Children's Services, Transplant, Heart Care, Women & Families, and Neurological Services.
Shands Jacksonville Medical Center
Affiliated with the UF Health Science Center Jacksonville, Shands Jacksonville is the largest of nine hospitals in the Shands HealthCare family serving residents in northeast Florida and southeast Georgia. A team of more than 330 College of Medicine faculty physicians offer nearly 70 specialty services including: Cancer Services, Cardiovascular Services, Neuroscience Services, Orthopaedic Services, Pediatrics, Poison Center, Trauma & Critical Care Services, and Women & Families. In addition to the main campus hospital, physician practices include many neighborhood specialty and primary care centers.
